Chanel Red Quilted Bag

Surprisingly I have seen very little Chanel while here in Brazil. There is a strong trend of Louis Vuitton of course and anything else that has its label and brand readily visible, splashed across it. This is of course understandable. In a country where little is a lot and a lot is sky's the limit then being able to afford a brand name accessory or píece of clothing is quite an achievement. If clothing and accessories are the way you count your eggs.

That said I felt this red leather bag was a grandiose gesture of opulence. The color is both ambitious and extreme. Regal and racey.
